Taking It To The Streets: 150th anniversary bash takes over downtown Wilmette

Hundreds upon hundreds of Wilmette supporters packed the streets of the village’s downtown Saturday, Sept. 10, to celebrate the town’s sesquicentennial.

From bands and street performers to libations and laughter, there was plenty of activity up and down Central and Wilmette avenues. Check out a recap of the special event.
