New Trier rallies past York in extra innings to take home third-place state trophy
New Trier ended its storied 2023 season on a high note, defeating York High School 9-4 on Saturday, June 10, to earn a third-place finish in IHSA Class 4A.
The Trevs scored five times in extra innings to best the Dukes. The victory clinched New Trier’s ninth 30-win season under the leadership of longtime head coach Mike Napoleon.
