Final Outing: New Trier, Loyola boys golfers finish campaign at sectional
Amid constant rain and wind gusts, the odd 2020 season came to a close for New Trier and Loyola Academy boys golfers Monday, Oct. 12.
The teams competed in the IHSA Class 3A Conant Sectional at the Bridges of Poplar Creek in Hoffman Estates, where New Trier fell just one stroke shy of a sectional championship.
It was the last tournament of the COVID-19-adjusted season.
