WRESTLING
New Trier 36, Maine South 33
Tyler Jackson (182 pounds) picked up last-second points to win a 7-6 decision on Tuesday, Jan. 18, that gave the Trevians the team win and a share of the Central Suburban League South crown.
New Trier is co-league champs along with Glenbrook South and Maine South.
De la Salle triangular
Loyola Academy (15-4) won dual meets against DePaul Prep and De la Salle on Wednesday, Jan. 19, the Ramblers final meet before the postseason.
BOYS BASKETBALL
New Trier 62, Niles West 34
Jackson Munro dropped 25 points to lead the Trevians (19-2) to a league win Wednesday, Jan. 19.
North Shore Country Day 53, Elgin Academy 26
The Raiders picked up a victory on Wednesday, Jan. 19.
Loyola 63, St. Francis de Sales 30
Johnny Daguinsin tallied 12 points as the visiting Ramblers (16-5, 6-0) picked up a conference win on Tuesday, Jan. 18.
Evanston 52, Loyola 38
Alex Engro scored 16 points in the Ramblers’ loss to their local rivalry on Monday, Jan. 17, in Evanston.
New Trier 59, Maine South 26
The Trevians earned the Central Suburban South win on Friday, Jan. 14.
Loyola 43, De la Salle 24
Alex Engro (11 points, 5 rebounds, 2 steals) and Connor Casper (6 points, 7 rebounds) helped Loyola to the league win on Friday, Jan. 14, in Wilmette.
Shane Tarjan added 8 points and 3 steals for Loyola.
GIRLS BASKETBALL
St. Ignatius 49, New Trier 48
The Trevians dropped another close decision on Monday, Jan. 17, in Northfield.
Loyola 66, Lincoln-Way West 49
Angelina Giordano scored 18 and Paige Engles 13 as the Ramblers (20-2) topped the Warriors Monday, Jan. 17, in the Coach Kipp Hoopsfest at Benet Academy in Lisle.
Loyola 57, Westinghouse 34
The Ramblers picked up a victory on Saturday, Jan. 15, in the Lane Tech Women in Sports Shootout.
Maine South 55, New Trier 40
The visiting Trevs were bested by the Hawks on Friday, Jan. 14.
CHEERLEADING

New Trier earned a first-place finish in the league championship meet on Jan. 13.
