Police Reports: Road-rage fight in Northfield and package burglaries

The following reports were pulled from the latest police summaries provided by departments in our coverage area (Wilmette, Winnetka, Highland Park, Northfield, Kenilworth and Glencoe).

WILMETTE

No reported incidents between Jan. 6-12 that meet The Record‘s standards for publication.

WINNETKA

Jan. 11

• More than $5,000 in unauthorized transactions reportedly were made to a resident’s home equity credit account.

Jan. 7

• More than $1,000 in unauthorized transactions reportedly were made to a resident’s bank account between Dec. 12-13.

GLENCOE

Jan. 6

• A laptop valued at nearly $2,000 reportedly was stolen upon delivery to a home in the 1100 block of Hohfelder Road.

HIGHLAND PARK

Jan. 11

• Merchandise reportedly was stolen from Walgreens, 655 Elm Place.

Jan. 10

• A package reportedly was stolen from a porch in the 2100 block of Churchill Court.

Jan. 9

• Nearly $6,000 in merchandise reportedly was discovered missing from Guitar Center, 143 Skokie Valley Road.

Jan. 8

• More than $150 in merchandise reportedly was stolen from CVS, 1539 Clavey Road.

NORTHFIELD

Jan. 10

• Two individuals reportedly began physically fighting in the parking lot of Sunset Ridge School, 525 Sunset Ridge Road, following a traffic altercation on Willow Road near Somerset Lane. No injuries were reported.

Jan. 6

• Packages containing soda reportedly were stolen from a resident in the 2100 block of Northgate Avenue.

KENILWORTH

No incidents reported between Jan. 3-10
