Police Reports: Home-burglary arrest, thousands in jewelry and other valuables stolen

WILMETTE
Nov. 13-14
• An individual was arrested for allegedly burglarizing a Wilmette home in the 400 block of Central Avenue on Nov. 13.
WINNETKA
Nov. 16
• A light-up sign reportedly was stolen from the roof of a vehicle in a parking lot at 1050 Scott Ave.
Nov. 12
• Jewelry reportedly was stolen between Nov. 8-11 from a home in the 200 block of Essex Road.
Nov. 11
• The contents of a package reportedly were taken between Nov. 9-11 from a porch in the 200 block of Sheridan Road.
GLENCOE
Nov. 10
• Approximately $30,000 in jewelry reportedly was stolen from a home in the 600 block of Skokie Lane. A rear door reportedly was shattered and rooms reportedly ransacked.
• A bracelet valued at $5,000 and silverware valued at $1,500 reportedly were discovered missing from a home in the 700 block of Elder Court.
Nov. 7
• Collectible knives and coins valued at $5,500 reportedly were stolen from a home in the 400 block of Madison Avenue.
HIGHLAND PARK
Nov. 14
• The window of a car reportedly was shattered in the lot at Acura Highland Park, 2699 Skokie Valley Road.
Nov. 12
• A package reportedly was stolen from a home in the 700 block of Judson Avenue.
Nov. 11
• Nearly $600 in merchandise reportedly was stolen from Target, 2099 Skokie Valley Road.
• A package reportedly was stolen from a home in the 2700 block of Fort Sheridan Avenue.
NORTHFIELD
Nov. 11
• More than $1,800 in home furnishings reportedly were stolen from a home in the 200 block of Dickens Street.
KENILWORTH
Nov. 8
• A package reportedly was stolen from a front porch in the 500 block of Ridge Road.
