This new shop has barely opened its doors in Wilmette, yet it is rolling out the red carpet for moms. The Mother’s Day Brunch will run from 8-10:45 a.m. for $30 and then from 10:45 a.m.-4 p.m. for $40, including Bloody Mary’s and mimosas during the later time. Kids under 10 are $20 the entire day. Along with a pastry platter, guests can choose from a decadent avocado toast to chicken & waffles and everything in between. From 2-3:30 p.m. on Sunday, May 12, enjoy a leisurely stroll talking about local and migrating birds with a naturalist. Roost back at the interpretive center with some cozy teas and talk about birding. Pre-registration required and is $18. All participants must register. Ages 12+.
