North Shore Restaurant Month is on. Here’s how and where you can dig in.
It’s a big year.
No, literally, it is a big year — a leap year in fact, 366 days instead of 365.
And it will pay dividends for North Shore diners, because North Shore Restaurant Month and its special offers will last one more day than usual.
Restaurant month begins Thursday, Feb. 1, and with more than 80 local restaurants participating, diners are not short on options to receive special offers through Feb. 29. Things kick off at 8 a.m. with free treats until 9 a.m. at Central Station Coffee and Tea in Wilmette.
The deals range from free desserts or appetizers to a percentage off your bill — some offers require discount codes. Make sure to check with the restaurant on any other limitations.
North Shore Restaurant Month is a program from the Chicago’s North Shore Convention and Visitors Bureau. Below is a list of participating restaurants in The Record‘s coverage area (Wilmette, Winnetka, Northfield, Kenilworth and Glencoe; Highland Park participates in Lake County Restaurant Week, traditionally in April).
For a full list of participating restaurants, including spots in Evanston, Skokie, Glenview and Northbrook, visit the North Shore Restaurant Month website. With questions, email jengel@cnscvb.com.
