BOYS BASKETBALL
Warren 56, New Trier 42
Ian Brown scored 15 points but the Trevians took their first loss on the season Tuesday, Nov. 28.
Loyola 58, Bulls Prep 18
Adam Dougherty scored 9 points and three Ramblers — David Patton, Ethan Dabu and Brody Munsey-Johnson — tallied 8 apiece in the victory on Tuesday, Nov. 28.
New Trier 47, Lake Forest 44
The Trevians won the championship of the New Trier-Loyola Thanksgiving tournament with the victory on Saturday, Nov. 25, at Loyola Academy.
Colby Smith, Chris Kirkpatrick and Logan Feller were named to the All-Tournament team.
Loyola 64, Taft 33
Andrew Hollerich scored 19 points on Saturday, Nov. 25, to lead the Ramblers to a third-place finish in the season-opening Thanksgiving tournament.
Hollerich and Miles Boland were selected to the All-Tournament team.
GIRLS BASKETBALL
New Trier 62, Glenbrook North 61
Sela Klein scored 23 points to go with 7 rebounds and 5 assists to help the Trevians to the league win on Tuesday, Nov. 28, in Northbrook.
KJ Saccaro added 14 points and 5 steals, while Emerson Buck and Anna Rivera chipped in 10 and 8 points, respectively, for New Trier.
Loyola 52, Providence 45
The visiting Ramblers picked up a league win on Tuesday, Nov. 28, in New Lenox.
Taft 38, Regina 31
Jillian DeFranza finished with 7 points and 6 rebounds to lead the Panthers on Monday, Nov. 27, in Chicago.
GIRLS GYMNASTICS
New Trier 136.05, Niles West 106.5
Clara Crossgrove won the all-around title (35.7) while sweeping all four events in the Trevians’ season-opening meet on Thursday, Nov. 30.
Taylor Kim finished seond in the all-around (33.8) and the uneven bars (8.6) for New Trier.
GIRLS BOWLING
Regina 2,086, Loyola 1,983
Ella Grillo led the Panthers with a 542 three-game series in the crosstown matchup Wednesday, Nov. 29, at Bowlero in Niles.
