WILMETTE
April 4
• Items reportedly were stolen from a business in the 3200 block of Lake Avenue.
April 1
• A resident reportedly was scammed out of money by a solicitor in the 400 block of Green Bay Road purporting to be raising funds for a family tragedy and using a credit-card device. Wilmette police say similar incidents have occurred in neighboring towns.
March 27
• An individual was arrested for allegedly stealing merchandise from a business in the 400 block of Green Bay Road.
WINNETKA
April 5
• A mailed check reportedly was stolen and altered.
April 4
• Three unlocked cars reportedly were broken — one each in the 500 block of Meadow Road, 0-100 block of High Street and 0-100 block of Brier Street — overnight.
GLENCOE
No reported incidents between March 26-April 2 that meet The Record’s standards for publication.
HIGHLAND PARK
April 2
• A gas pump reportedly was vandalized with graffiti at Casey’s, 2580 Skokie Valley Road.
• A guitar valued at $2,800 reportedly was stolen between March 25-April 1 from Guitar Center, 143 Skokie Valley Road.
April 1
• A package reportedly was stolen from a front porch in the 300 block of Sumac Road.
NORTHFIELD
April 1
• An individual was arrested for reportedly using drugs in a car at a local gas station, 1855 Willow Road, and was transferred to Elk Grove Police on an in-state warrant.
KENILWORTH
No incidents reported between March 28-April 4
