New Trier 13, Thurston (Oregon) 2

Trey Meyers went 3-for-4 with a home run and 3 RBI for the Trevians (5-1-1) on Thursday, March 27 in the final game of their spring break trip to Arizona.

Jake Bentivenga added a 3-run homer and Henrick Conniff struck out 6 and got the win for New Trier.

Naples (Florida) 7, Loyola 5

Anthony Reavy recorded three hits but it wasn’t enough for the Ramblers (1-4) on Thursday, March 27, in Florida.

Highland Park 14, Packer Institute (New York) 0

JT Kileen had 2 hits, 3 RBI and 3 runs scored in the Giants’ spring-break victory on Thursday, March 27, in Florida.

Copper Kasdin earned the win with six innings of no-run work while striking out 9.

Highland (Arizona) 7, New Trier 2

Trey Meyers belted a solo homer and Ben Toft notched two hits for the Trevians in the loss on Wednesday, March 26.

Tommy Regan went 3-for-4 in Game 2 of the Ramblers’ spring-break doubleheader on Wednesday, March 26.

In Game 1, Barron Collier walked it off on the Ramblers.

Highland Park 10, Celebration (Florida) 0

Ben Lichtenfeld pitched the shutout for the Giants on Wednesday, March 26.

Paxton Feder knocked in three runs for Highland Park.

New Trier 10, Redmond (Oregon) 5

Andrew Rover knocked in three runs and Trey Meyers recorded three hits to lead the Trevians (4-0-1) on Tuesday, March 25, in Arizona.

Caiden Carpenter added a hit and three walks for New Trier.

Highland Park 4, IMG Academy Blue (Florida) 1

Trent Harradine and Josh Midanek had an RBI double each for the Giants on Tuesday, March 25.

Brett Karman (5 1/3 innings, 1 run, 6 K’s, W) and Simon Rose (1 2/3 innings, 4 K’s, S) got it done on the mound for the Giants.

New Trier 12, Quartz Hill 3

Caiden Carpenter, Trey Meyers and Jake Bentivenga had a triple apiece in the Trevians’ victory on Monday, March 24, in Arizona.

Greg Campitelli struck out 5 over 3-plus innings to get the win for New Trier.

New Trier 12, Mascoutah 6

Ben Toft tripled and knocked in three runs to pace the Trevians to victory on Friday, March 21.

Trey Meyers chipped in three hits and two runs for New Trier.

New Trier 8, East Moline United 4

Jake Bentivenga socked two home runs and notched 5 RBI in the Trevians’ first win of the season on Friday, March 21.

BOYS TRACK AND FIELD
Central Suburban South Indoor Championships

William Landwer (60-meter run); Dylan Nemerovski (200); Joey Papanicholas (1,600); Papanicholas, Declan O’Neill, Cooper Hazday and Ryan Park (3,200 relay); Michael Gorelick (high jump) and Oliver Neuenschwander (pole vault) all won league titles for New Trier, which placed first with 143 points on Saturday, March 22, in Winnetka.

Central Suburban North Indoor Championships

Dylan Dominguez won the 3,200-meter run and Shamar Wilson the 50 and 200 runs as Highland Park finished fourth on Saturday, March 22.
