Joe Kelly struck out 12 in five innings on the mound for the Ramblers on Thursday, March 20.
New Trier 6, Notre Dame 6
Zach Perchik knocked in two runs and Mason Bloom scored two runs for the Trevians on Tuesday, March 18, in the season opener.
Keenan Donaldson notched two hits and Nick Bailey struck out five in two-plus innings of relief work for New Trier.
Loyola 4, Evanston 3
Joe Drehkoff struck out five in a starting spot in the Ramblers’ season opener on Tuesday, March 18, in Glenview.
Mark Atwood struck out six in a relief appearance for Loyola.
Highland Park 5, Hersey 5
Ben Lichtenfeld had two hits and an RBI in the Giants’ opener on Tuesday, March 18.
Brett Karman pitched three innings and allowed no runs for Highland Park.

The Trevians dropped their opener on Wednesday, March 19.
Loyola 6, Glenbrook South 0
Hunter Lewis, a junior, tossed a no-hitter while striking out 18 in the Ramblers’ victory on Tuesday, March 18. It’s the second straight season Lewis began the season with a no-hitter.
Leanna Keller and Lewis recorded two hits apiece for Loyola’s offense.
GIRLS SOCCER
New Trier 2, Warren 0
Addy Randall scored two second-half goals as the Trevians picked up the victory on Tuesday, March 18.
Peyton Colegrove and London McCaffrey tallied assists for New Trier.

GIRLS TRACK AND FIELD
Central Suburban League South Indoor Championships
Emilia Smith set a facility record of 38 feet 4 inches while winning the triple jump for New Trier on Thursday, March 20, at Glenbrook South.
Grace Gallagher (shot put), Anna Rivera (800-meter run), and Sadie Abbott, Sawyer Vyas, Kyla Ritchie and Lily Rickard-Bugel (3,200 relay) all won their events as well for the Trevians, who took the team title with 140 points, ahead of Maine South’s 107 and Glenbrook South’s 102.
