Police Reports: Several package thefts and car break-ins
The following reports were pulled from the latest police summaries provided by departments in our coverage area (Wilmette, Winnetka, Highland Park, Northfield, Kenilworth and Glencoe).
WILMETTE
Dec. 28
• Two packages reportedly were stolen from the 400 block of Greenleaf Avenue.
• A package reportedly was stolen from a front porch in the 900 block of Central Avenue.
• A package reportedly was stolen from a front porch in the 500 block of Park Avenue.
Dec. 26
• Liquor reportedly was stolen from a store in the 400 block of Green Bay Road.
Dec. 24
• Items reportedly were stolen from an unlocked car in the 3300 block of Wilmette Avenue.
Dec. 23
• Items reportedly were stolen from an unlocked car in the 700 block of Lawler Avenue.
• Items reportedly were stolen overnight from an unlocked car in the 800 block of Lawler Avenue.
WINNETKA
Dec. 29
• A stop sign reportedly was stolen from the parkway at Cherry and Locust streets.
GLENCOE
No reports between Dec. 18-23 that meet The Record’s standards for publication.
HIGHLAND PARK
Dec. 28
• Multiple packages reportedly were stolen from the lobby of a building in the 1200 block of Park Avenue W.
Dec. 23
• A worker’s cellphone and wallet reportedly were stolen at CVS, 1539 Clavey Road.
• A rear door to a residence reportedly was forced open in the 600 block of Vine Avenue.
NORTHFIELD
Dec. 24
• A stolen vehicle reportedly was recovered in the 500 block of West Frontage Road.
Dec. 17
• A package reportedly was stolen from a porch in the 1600 block of Colonial Lane.
Dec. 16
• Several vehicles reportedly were illegally entered overnight near the 100 block of Riverside Drive and 200 block of Graemere Street.
• A catalytic converter reportedly was stolen from a Northfield Park District vehicle parked at the community center, 401 Wagner Road.
KENILWORTH
No incidents reported between Dec. 20-27
