Sam Golden dropped 23 points while Brenden Loftus recorded a double-double (11 points, 10 rebounds) for the Ramblers (7-3) on Sunday, Dec. 15.
New Trier 65, Steinmetz 22
The Trevians (8-2, 2-0) picked up a nonconference victory on Saturday, Dec. 14, in Winnetka.
New Trier 73, Maine South 56
The Trevians earned the league win on Friday, Dec. 14, in Park Ridge.
Loyola 48, St. Ignatius 45
Sam Golden (16 points) buried a three-pointer at the buzzer to give the Ramblers’ the Jesuit Cup victory on Friday, Dec. 14, at Loyola University in Chicago.
Trey Williams added 11 points and 3 steals, while Brendan Loftus had 7 rebounds for Loyola.

Simon Moschin scored 19 points while Hayden Kach added 11 for the Giants in the rivalry loss on Friday, Dec. 14, in Deerfield.

Tagg Miller recorded a second-place finish while Tucker Kemnitz and Marcus Regalado each placed fourth for New Trier on Saturday, Dec. 14.

Maine East Invite
Lola Bianco and Jillian Giller earned championship finishes in their weight classes on Saturday, Dec. 14, to help New Trier to a third-place team finish.
Sunny Aitzemkour picked up a second-place result for the Trevians.
Harlee Hiller won her weight class for Loyola Academy.
GIRLS GYMNASTICS
Estoque Invite
Taylor Kim finished second on floor (9.1), seventh on vault (8.95) and fifth in all-around scoring (35.3) for New Trier, which placed third out of eight teams on Friday, Dec. 13, at Hinsdale Central.
Zoey Junker placed fourth (9.25) and Anna Virgili fifth on bars (9.2), while Sammy Mills was fourth on balance beam (8.8) for the Trevians.
BOYS SWIM AND DIVE
New Trier 95, Hinsdale Central 91
Teddy O’Donnell won the 200-yard individual medley and 100 butterfly and Philip Timmerman the 100 breaststroke to lead the Trevians on Friday, Dec. 13.
Timmerman, O’Donnell, Caden Carberry and Drennan Devaraj joined forces to win the 200 medley relay.
