The (early voting) polls are open, and we’re here to help.

Early voting begins today (Monday, Oct. 21), and this edition of The Record’s Local Election Guide is a tool to equip you with information for your voting experience. Below find details on when, how and where to vote, also how and where to register. Want to help out at the polls? You can find that info too.

As a local newsroom, we will not be breaking down national, state or regional races, but this week, The Record will roll out previews of several referendums that are in front of residents in our coverage area. See more below.

> Apply for mail-in ballots online or in-person through Oct. 31. Must provide driver’s license, the last four of your social security number, mailing address and email address. Completed mail-in ballots must be postmarked by Election Day and be received within 14 days of Election Day.
