Autumn Knights Invitational

Grace Kreutz recorded 9 kills and Ellen Gundlach 8 in Loyola Academy’s 25-18, 25-21 victory over host Lincoln-Way Central in the tournament’s first day Wednesday, Oct. 16, in New Lenox.

Brea Payne had 4 aces and Ava Swanson 3 in the Ramblers’ 25-6, 25-23 win against Reavis in pool play Wednesday.

Regina 25-25, North Shore Country Day 16-16

Peyton Bertsch racked up 6 aces to go with 12 kills for the Panthers on Tuesday, Oct. 15.

New Trier 6, Lake Forest Academy 1

Cole Driscoll and Noah Capocchi recorded two goals and two assists apiece for the Trevians on Wednesday, Oct. 16.

North Shore Country Day 5, Beacon Academy 0

The Raiders won their IHSA Class 1A playoff opener on Wednesday, Oct. 16, in Winnetka.

Vernon Hills 3, New Trier 2

Esteban Iacobelli and Noah Capocchi scored and Cole Driscoll had two assists in the league crossover for the Trevians on Friday, Oct. 11.

GIRLS SWIM AND DIVE
Trevian Relays

Elyse Newlands won the 200-yard individual medley for New Trier and helped her team to victory in the 200 free and 200 medley relays on Thursday, Oct. 10, when the Trevians claimed the team title of their host invite with 277 points to Stevenson’s 239.

Margaret Lietzau (200 free), Tierney Lenahan (50 free), Zara Bolton (100 butterfly) and Marin Shimkus (100 backstroke) also claimed individual victories for New Trier.

Lia Roggi placed second in the 100 freestyle helping Loyola Academy to a third-place team finish.

GIRLS TENNIS
Central Suburban South Championships

Coco Zabel and Julia Ludwig (first doubles) and Ingrid Fiedler (second singles) won titles to lead New Trier to a team championship on Saturday, Oct. 12.

Frances Wilson and Tessa Gemp and Calista Kim and Simron Biggs, at third and fourth doubles, respectively also won league championships for the Trevians while Annabel Kim placed third in top singles.

Central Suburban North Championships

Highland Park earned a league team championship on Saturday, Oct. 11.

Girls Catholic Athletic Conference Championships

Loyola Academy won a conference title on Saturday, Oct. 11.

CROSS-COUNTRY
Independent School League Championships

Niamh Byrne placed fourth overall and Nora McCabe fifth as Regina Dominican won the conference team title on Thursday, Oct. 17, at Lake Forest Academy.

Charlotte Kroll (7th) and Lulu Tamayo (10) also finished in the top 10 for the Panthers.
