Police Reports: Nearly $40,000 in merchandise stolen from Highland Park business; several package thefts in Wilmette

The following reports were pulled from the latest police summaries provided by departments in our coverage area (Wilmette, Winnetka, Highland Park, Northfield, Kenilworth and Glencoe).

WILMETTE

Oct. 5

• A three-wheel motorized bicycle reportedly was stolen from the 400 block of Linden Avenue.

Oct. 4

• Two bicycles reportedly were taken from a detached garage in the 1600 block of Central Avenue.

Oct. 3

• A package reportedly was stolen from a front porch in the 2000 block of Elmwood Avenue.

• A bicycle reportedly was stolen from an unlocked garage in the 600 block of Maple Avenue.

• A bicycle reportedly was stolen from the 600 block of Locust Road.

• A package reportedly was stolen from in front of a home in the 200 block of Central Park Avenue.

• A package reportedly was stolen from in front of a home in the 3200 block of Greenleaf Avenue.

Oct. 2

• A package reportedly was stolen from a front porch in the 1100 block of Chestnut Avenue.

WINNETKA

Oct. 3

• More than $5,000 reportedly was fraudulently removed from a resident’s bank account.

GLENCOE

Sept. 28

• An iPad, AirPods, a book bag and more reportedly were stolen from an unlocked car in the 1000 block of Elm Ridge Drive.

HIGHLAND PARK

Oct. 5

• A purse containing a wallet and credit cards reportedly was stolen from an unlocked car in the 2100 block of Churchill Lane.

Oct. 2

• Approximately $37,000 worth of household fixtures reportedly were stolen from Studio41, 3160 Skokie Valley Road.

Sept. 30

• Two tow-truck dollies valued at $2,500 reportedly were stolen from a truck belonging to M&N Towing, 2868 Skokie Valley Road.

NORTHFIELD

Oct. 5

• An unlocked bicycle reportedly was stolen between 9:15 a.m.-noon in the 100 block of South Happ Road.

KENILWORTH

No incidents reported between Sept. 7-Oct. 4.
