Ellen Gundlach and Addie Leadbetter recorded 4 blocks apiece in the host Ramblers’ rivalry victory on Thursday, Sept. 21, in Wilmette.

Grace Kreutz tallied 8 kills with 3 aces for Loyola (10-2), which handed New Trier its first loss of the season.

Regina 25-25, Christ the King 10-9

Jana Pagan finished with 5 kills while four other Panthers had 3 apiece on Thursday, Sept. 12.

Gem Lucero chipped in 5 aces and Jillian DeFranza had 4 for Regina.

Sophie Goby had 8 digs and Peyton Bertsch 7 kills for the Panthers on Wednesday, Sept. 11.

Logan Keeter and Boden Rice each shot a 35 in the Trevians’ league loss on Tuesday, Sept. 10, at Heritage Oaks in Northbrook.

Boden Rice’s 71 was good enough for fourth place and led New Trier to a tournament title on Saturday, Sept. 7, at Twin Orchard.

Elias Weidmanis (75), Logan Keeter (76) and Liam Kelly (76) also finished in the top 20 for the Trevians.

Kourtney Schuenzel and Courtney Park picked up straight-set wins on the singles side for the Panthers on Wednesday, Sept. 11, at Locust Park.

FIELD HOCKEY
Highland Park 3, DePaul Prep 0

The Giants earned the victory on Tuesday, Sept. 10, on Wolters Field.

CROSS-COUNTRY
Red Devil Invite

Ben Crane, a New Trier senior, won the competitive invitational for the second straight year, finishing the three-mile race in 13 minutes 58 seconds. Walter Garrett (14:55) finished 14th as the Trevians took second as a team.

Dylan Dominguez, of Highland Park, placed 13th, while teammates Lucas Hoobler and Henry Gamson took 24th and 25th, respectively. The Giants placed 10th in the 22-team field.

On the girls side, Josie Cahill (17:29.4) finished 9th for 11th-place New Trier.
