The Trevians picked up the season-opening win in a nailbiter on Monday, Aug. 26, in Libertyville.

Regina 26-25, Ridgewood 24-13

Payton Bertsch tallied 7 kills and 5 aces to pace the Panthers on Tuesday, Aug. 27.

Bridget Conway and Olivia Howlett also added 7 kills apiece for Regina.

BOYS SOCCER
Loyola 1, Niles North 1

Daniel Vehovsky scored off an assist from Jordy Jacome for the Ramblers in the draw on Wednesday, Aug. 28.

GIRLS FLAG FOOTBALL
New Trier 14, Stevenson 6

The Trevians moved to 2-0 to open their inaugural season with the victory on Thursday, Aug. 30.

New Trier 33, Deerfield 0

The Trevians opened up their inaugural season with a resounding victory on Wednesday, Aug. 28, in Northfield.

St. Francis (Wheaton) 26, Regina 14

The Panthers fell in the second game of a doubleheader on Wednesday, Aug. 28, at Resurrection in Chicago.

The visiting Panthers were defeated in their inaugural flag football game Wednesday, Aug. 28.

BOYS GOLF
Loyola 158, Carmel 166

The Ramblers earned the head-to-head victory on Thursday, Aug. 30.

Warren Invite

Jack Stamatis (74) placed third and Drew Southwell (75) fourth to help Loyola Academy to second overall on Saturday, Aug. 24, at Bittersweet Golf Club.

Glenbrook South Quad

Bobby Felicione carded a 73 to lead New Trier to a first-place finish (298) on Aug. 20 at Sunset Ridge Country Club.

Evanston Quad

Elias Weidmanis (72) and Boden Rice (73) paced a split New Trier to a third-place finish (307) on Aug. 20.

FIELD HOCKEY
New Trier 4, Lake Forest 2 (OT)

Lilly Cimaroli scored twice in extra time to give the Trevians a dramatic victory on Wednesday, Aug. 28, in Northfield.

Beatrice Ottsen and Eloise Breen also scored for New Trier, while Trevs goalie Kennedy Glinn recorded 8 saves.

Highland Park 4, St. Viator 0

The Giants picked up the home victory on Thursday, Aug. 30, in Highland Park.
