WILMETTE
Aug. 18
• Jewelry reportedly was stolen from a home on Indian Hill Road after someone used a ladder to enter the home through a second-story open window.
• A resident reportedly watched four individuals wearing masks exit a car and enter an unlocked car parked in the resident’s driveway in the 400 block of Highcrest Drive.
Aug. 16
• Three golf clubs reportedly were taken from a golf bag at Wilmette Golf Course, 3900 Fairway Drive.
• A resident reportedly was scammed out of $1,000 when a caller purporting to be from the resident’s cellphone company was granted access to the resident’s phone.
Aug. 14
• A purse strap reportedly was stolen from a shop in the 1100 block of Central Avenue and an individual was arrested for the alleged theft in Chicago.
Aug. 13
• Mailed checks reportedly were stolen, altered and cashed under a different name than the intended recipient.
• Jewelry was reported missing from a home in the 1400 block of Sheridan Road.
• Cash was reported missing from a home in the 1400 block of Wilmette Ave.
WINNETKA
Aug. 15
• An unlocked car reportedly was stolen from a driveway in the 1400 block of Asbury Avenue. The car reportedly contained cash, two iPhones, a purse and credit cards. It was later recovered in Highland Park, police say.
GLENCOE

HIGHLAND PARK
Aug. 13
• A car and three other sets of keys reportedly were stolen from Unlimited Auto Style, 3150 Skokie Valley Road.
Aug. 12
• Two tables reportedly were stolen from City Hall, 1707 St. Johns Ave.

KENILWORTH
Aug. 13
• A car reportedly was stolen overnight from a home in the 300 block of Cumnor Road. The car reportedly was later involved in a traffic accident at 11 a.m. in Chicago.
