Police Reports: String of car burglaries in Northfield; stolen work equipment in Winnetka

WILMETTE
July 22
• An individual reportedly rode their bike over the 10th green at The Evans at Canal Shores golf course in Wilmette sometime between July 17-22.
July 19
• A wallet reportedly was stolen from a car parked in a garage in the 500 block of Washington Ave.
June 25
• A resident reportedly was scammed out of more than $3,000 after responding to a call about accounting software.
WINNETKA
July 21
• Three rose plants reportedly were removed between July 11-16 rom a home in the 500 block of Chestnut Street.
July 16
• Work equipment, including a drain camera and monitor valued at more than $5,000, reportedly was stolen between noon-12:17 p.m. from an unlocked truck in the 1100 block of Spruce Street.
GLENCOE
No reported incidents that meet The Record’s standards for publication.
HIGHLAND PARK
July 21
• Two bags of merchandise reportedly were stolen from Walgreen’s, 632 Roger Williams Avenue.
July 18
• Cash reportedly was taken from an unlocked car in the 800 block of North Avenue.
• A car reportedly was stolen from Muller Honda, 250 Skokie Valley Road, after the car’s driver’s side window was broken.
July 17
• Musical equipment worth $2,000 reportedly was stolen from Guitar Center, 143 Skokie Valley Road.
July 16
• Cash reportedly was stolen from a car in the 1900 block of Cloverdale Avenue.
July 13
• A package reportedly was stolen from a porch in the 900 block of Central Avenue.
NORTHFIELD
July 20
• Two vapes valued at $55 reportedly were stolen from the Breaking Point Shell station, 1855 Willow Road.
July 19
• At least five unlocked cars reportedly were burglarized between 5:40-6 a.m. in the 0-100 block of Coventry Road. Sunglasses and cash reportedly were among the items stolen.
July 14
• A home’s window reportedly was damaged by BB pellets in the 100 block of Euclid Lane.
KENILWORTH
No incidents reported between July 12-19.
