The Trevians picked up a straight-set win on opening night on Monday, March 18.
Loyola 25-29, Warren 17-27
Liam Uruba racked up 10 kills and 5 blocks to lead the Ramblers on Monday, March 18, in Wilmette.
Jack Lopez recorded 13 kills, Nathan Chi 21 assists and Stef Kins 15 digs for Loyola.
GIRLS TRACK AND FIELD
CSL indoor championships
Gaby Manzano won the 50-meter dash, 200 run, long jump and triple jump in leading New Trier to the team title in the South division on Saturday, March 16.
Grace Gallagher (shot put), Anna Rivera (800), Lahey Cahill (55 hurdles) and Josie Cahill (1,600) added wins for the Trevians.
In the North division, Grace Welhouse finished first in the 55 hurdles to lead Highland Park to a second-place result.
BOYS TRACK AND FIELD
CSL indoor championships
Tucker Angelmeyer (400), Walter Garrett (1,600) and Frank Youkhana (shot put) won events for New Trier, which placed second as a team behind Glenbrook South in the South division on Saturday, March 16.
Shamar Wilson (50), Lukaas Nales (400), Zach Coren (800), Nate Wehner (3,200) and Russell Czerwinski (high jump) picked up event wins to as Highland Park won the North division.
